The décor adds a unique flair, with memorabilia and statues inspired by popular Japanese anime and manga, giving the dining space a playful yet comfortable vibe.
The menu at Royal Sushi brilliantly balances classic sashimi options with creative specialty rolls that keep diners coming back for more. Start your lunch with delicate sashimi selections such as the buttery Saku (Super White Tuna) or the richly flavored Maguro (Tuna), each presented as thin, translucent slices that melt in your mouth. If you prefer a convenient, satisfying meal, the various sushi boxes—like the Chef Special Box featuring a mix of sushi and sashimi or the popular Sakura Maki Box offering a customizable trio of rolls—are perfect for sampling a variety of tastes and textures.
For those craving a burst of flavor and artistry in every bite, the All Day Special Maki rolls shine. The Dragon Maki is a decadent combination of shrimp tempura, crab stick, eel, avocado, and roe, wrapped in a tender layer of rice and nori, then glazed with sweet eel sauce. Meanwhile, the Godzilla Maki is a spicy, creamy explosion of shrimp tempura, cream cheese, and roe, balanced with cucumber and drizzled in spicy mayo and eel sauce—each bite a perfect harmony of heat, crunch, and creaminess. The Crispy Maki and Spicy Scallop Maki are also highly recommended for those who relish bold, textural contrasts.

A hidden gem in the Harlem- Norridge area! Quality of food was great, service was friendly and efficient. This is a good place to sit down in peace, catch up with friends, and really enjoy the food! The all you can eat special is definitely worth it.

Paid our first visit to Royal Sushi recently and it was an excellent experience! Took my folks out to lunch here on a Sunday and did the all you can eat special and had a great time. The interior was tidy and clutter-free. There was ample seating in the form of several clean tables and booths. Statues and memorabilia depicting several famous and popular characters from Japanese Anime and Manga, some behind glass cases, adorned the waiting and dining area. The food was fresh and phenomenal. It was so dang good. The appetizers were cooked perfectly and were brought out after a short wait, which then became our first introduction to the adorable singing Cyberpunk robot that rolled out and brought our food to our table. Such a fun, novel and memorable experience. The rolls were expertly assembled and the assorted fish used in the sushi were beautifully carved and of the utmost freshest quality. Our waitress was Johnny-on-the-spot with our beverages, plate-removal and orders. 10/10 dining experience. Had to loosen our belts once we were finished eating because we were so stuffed. Filled to the gills, as they say. We had such a blast and cannot wait to pay our next visit. Cheers!

This is our families favorite sushi restaurant, one my son discovered. Now i come here especially on his birthday to enjoy his favorites for his heavenly birthday. He would have loved all the anime additions. A must , Torched Dragon , fried scallops, crab Rangoon and house salad.

Took a little while to get seated and served but the sushi and rolls were totally worth it. I would come back again. I initially thought the Blue Sky roll was a bit weird but it turned out to be an amazing combo. I would recommend any of the fruit rolls. They sound weird but the sauce makes the roll. Most of the other rolls were pretty good as well. The Green Dragon roll was probably one of the best tasting rolls I've had here. I like the statues as part of the decor, gives it a fun atmosphere. I do wish I remembered to pick up some merch. Been a One Piece fan since the beginning and I'm kinda bummed that I forgot.

Great sushi spot with flexible options! I really enjoyed my experience at Royal Sushi. Most of the sushi I tried—especially the Chicago Fire, Tempura, and Spicy Salmon—were delicious and fresh. I also appreciated the flexibility of being able to mix the all-you-can-eat option with à la carte orders. It’s a great setup if you want to sample a little bit of everything without feeling limited. Definitely worth a visit!

The food was great! I don’t usually go to AYCE but this was delicious and consistent. Cute robot delivers to your table and server is close behind. Wonderful service too. Atmosphere felt a bit dark but they decorated nicely.

A great all you can eat sushi experience on the northwest side of the city. For $30 per person you can eat till you’re stuffed to the gills. All of the food quality is superb and the sushi is very fresh and well made with tons of different options for everyone. Lots of great appetizers and hibachi options are also available. They also have a cool robot server which helps serve customers. Make sure you come at an appropriate time so you have time to eat properly. They give you an hours worth of time to be fair to other patrons. Keep in mind they charge a 15% gratuity on parties of 6 or more

Food tastes good and freshly made. Price of $32 for All You Can Eat. Service was slow, but it was a busy night, waited about 30 min before seated. The AYCE menu can use some expansion including sashimi in the menu. Staff was friendly. Restaurant uses a robot to transport food. Plenty of room to park outside.
